We're taking it way back to ancient Egypt, who didn't stop at giving the world pyramids and hieroglyphics, but chamomile, too! The soft floral notes of the chamomile are further accentuated by lavender, with a hint of freshness from the spearmint and soothing lemon flavor from the verbena. A bedtime must-have, enjoy hot and with an optional sweetener.

Cultural and Historical Context:

The chamomiles are several species of flowers from the daisy family. The word “chamomile” comes from the Greek words meaning “earth apple”, describing the low-growing plant with an apple-like scent. Known the world over for centuries as a soothing beverage, chamomile tea was likely first made in ancient Egypt. Egyptians considered chamomile to be a gift from the gods; pharaohs wore chamomile patterns in life and were anointed in its oil in death. Chamomile appears in the poetry of William Shakespeare, the paintings of Vincent van Gogh, and Eastern European folk tales, and cultures across Europe, Asia, and the Americas have prescribed it for medicinal purposes.

Order Processing Time

All normal sales orders are processed within 2–4 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays). Pre-orders may take up to 14 business days.
Once your order is prepared for shipment, you will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number.

Shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout based on order weight, destination, and current carrier rates.

Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary due to weather, postal delays, holiday volume, or other circumstances outside our control.

Brewing Black Tea Co. ships exclusively through:

• USPS

• UPS

Carrier selection is determined by cost, speed, and availability at the time your order is shipped.

U.S. Shipping Only

We currently ship within the United States only, including all 50 states and U.S. territories.
International shipping is not available at this time.

Order Tracking

A tracking number will be sent to your email once your order has shipped. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking updates to appear.

Wrong Address or Address Changes

Please verify your shipping address carefully at checkout.

Brewing Black Tea Co. is not responsible for:

• Incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer

• Packages delivered to the wrong address due to customer error

• Additional fees or delays resulting from an incorrect address

If you need to request an address correction, email us immediately at Hello@brewingblacktea.co.
We will do our best to assist, but changes cannot be guaranteed once processing has begun.

Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages

Once your order is handed to USPS or UPS, it becomes the responsibility of the carrier.

Brewing Black Tea Co. is not liable for:

• Lost or stolen packages

• Packages marked “delivered” but not received

• Delivery delays caused by the carrier

If your package is missing, please contact the carrier directly using your tracking number.
We’re always happy to support you through the process if you need guidance.

Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 7 days of delivery by following this link or emailing Hello@brewingblacktea.co with:

• Your order number

• Photos of the damaged product and packaging

• A brief description of the issue

If approved, we will issue a replacement or refund in accordance with our Refund Policy.

Returns Due to Non-Delivery

If a package is returned to us due to:

• An incomplete or incorrect address

• Refusal of delivery

You are responsible for all reshipment costs.
